PPR

What is a PPR?

If you wish to save for your retirement with fiscal benefits, a PPR can be a good choice. Note that there are special rules apply for taxation and withdrawal (more-information). In general PPRs are not subject to any “entry” taxes, as taxation occurs at the time of withdrawal. Please reach you to know more about the current PPR fund in use or if you want to clarify any questions with our insurance broker.

Common Questions

  • Can we put the money on an existing PPR account?
    • No, because they were created at a personal level, not company level
  • What happens if the worker leaves?
    • If it is an acquired right, the worker is entitled to get the capital back (and pay the respective taxes at the time of withdrawal)
  • Cannot withdraw while working at the company (this is a long term investment)
