Laptops

Replacements & Upgrades

Laptops will be replaced with the following priority order:

  • Damages: If it’s damaged or malfunctioning, while being repaired we will provide you with a replacement that should be equivalent to what you have, but will depend on availability of laptops. Note to you might be liable for damage for misusage / careless usage.
  • Age: Older laptops will be replaced first. As a guideline, laptops older than 4 years (since purchase) should be replaced by new models.

Note that battery service issues are not covered under the laptop upgrade policy since the lifetime and health of batteries is largely impacted by each person’s usage patterns and Apple will mark a battery as needing replacement after 300 cycles. This means that the battery will probably not be able to maintain it’s full capacity after extended usage, which is expected from lithium-ion batteries. To make sure battery life is prolonged, please follow Apple’s Battery Performance Guidelines.

  • With the exception of the current owner, the laptops will be sold in a first-come first-served basis;
  • Prices are non-negotiable;
